A fine George II mahogany bureau bookcase, the arched mirrored doors flanked by carved pilasters, opening to reveal a fine interior with gilt metal enrichments, the fall flap opens to reveal a simple interior with drawers and a central cupboard flanked by small pilasters, again with gilt metal enrichments, the engraved escutcheon to the fall and all the other brasses below are set flush with the surface of the timber. The whole standing on ogee bracket feet.
