A fine George II carved mahogany tripod table, the piecrust edged top supported by a birdcage action above a carved and fluted column, the tripod legs wrapped with carved acanthus ending in bold paw feet. This table is almost identical to that illustrated in R.W. Symonds 'English Furniture from Charles II to George II' from the Percival Griffiths collection (see black and white illustration Fig. 190 Page 232)
