A fine George II triple plate overmantel, the frame bordered by egg and dart moulding, the buttressed ends centred by flower heads from which rise scrolling leaves, the field veneered in well figured walnut, the inner moulding carved and gilt. The original plates with cut decoration to the meeting edges.
